Manuscript Submission
Contemporary Research on Organization Management and Administration welcomes original, methodologically rigorous and internationally relevant manuscripts in organization studies, management, public administration, governance and related interdisciplinary fields.
Submission Email
All manuscripts, supporting documents and correspondence must be submitted exclusively by email to:
The journal accepts submissions and conducts all editorial correspondence exclusively in English. Manuscripts, cover letters, declarations, responses to reviewers and all other documents written in languages other than English will not be processed.
Authors should not send the same manuscript repeatedly or submit it to multiple journal email addresses.
No Article Processing Charges
The journal does not charge authors for:
- manuscript submission;
- preliminary editorial assessment;
- peer review;
- manuscript processing;
- publication;
- online access;
- supplementary materials;
- standard editorial correspondence.
There are no mandatory article processing charges, submission fees, review fees or publication fees for any manuscript category.
Email Subject
The submission email should use the following subject line:
New Manuscript Submission – Corresponding Author’s Name – Short Article Title

Revised manuscripts should use:
Revised Manuscript – Manuscript ID – Corresponding Author’s Name
Files Required for Initial Submission
Authors must attach the following files to the submission email:
- Cover letter;
- Title page;
- Anonymous manuscript;
- Tables and figures, if submitted separately;
- Supplementary materials, where applicable;
- Reporting checklist, where applicable;
- Ethics approval or supporting documentation, if requested;
- Data availability information;
- Author declarations.
Files should preferably be submitted in Microsoft Word format. Tables must be editable. Figures should be supplied in a clear and sufficiently high-resolution format.
Cover Letter
The cover letter should contain:
- complete manuscript title;
- manuscript category;
- brief explanation of the study’s originality;
- principal scholarly contribution;
- explanation of how the manuscript fits the journal’s Aim and Scope;
- confirmation that the manuscript is original;
- confirmation that the manuscript has not been published previously;
- confirmation that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere;
- confirmation that all authors approved the submission;
- disclosure of related manuscripts, preprints or conference versions;
- disclosure of conflicts of interest;
- funding information;
- corresponding author’s full contact details.
The cover letter must be written in English and signed or submitted with the authorization of all authors.
Title Page
The title page must include:
- complete article title;
- full name and surname of every author;
- academic degree or professional title;
- department or academic unit;
- institution;
- city and country;
- institutional email address;
- ORCID identifier;
- designation of the corresponding author;
- corresponding author’s email address;
- author contribution statement;
- funding statement;
- conflict-of-interest declaration;
- acknowledgements, where applicable.
Author names and affiliations must be accurate at the time of submission. Each author should verify the spelling and order of their name before the manuscript is submitted.
Anonymous Manuscript
The anonymous manuscript is used for double-blind peer review and must not contain information that directly identifies the authors.
Authors should remove:
- author names;
- institutional affiliations;
- email addresses;
- acknowledgements identifying individuals or institutions;
- author biographies;
- document properties containing author information;
- statements revealing the authors’ identity unnecessarily.
Self-citations should not normally be removed, but they should be written in a neutral manner that does not reveal authorship.
Manuscript Language
All manuscripts must be written in clear, professional academic English.
The following must also be provided in English:
- title;
- abstract;
- keywords;
- tables;
- figures;
- captions;
- notes;
- declarations;
- supplementary materials;
- cover letter;
- response to reviewers;
- all email correspondence.
The editorial office may return submissions that do not meet the journal’s English-language requirements.
Manuscript Structure
Original research articles should normally contain:
- Title;
- Abstract;
- Keywords;
- Introduction;
- Literature Review or Theoretical Framework;
- Methodology;
- Results;
- Discussion;
- Conclusion;
- Practical or Policy Implications, where relevant;
- Research Limitations;
- Recommendations for Future Research;
- Author Contributions;

- Conflicts of Interest;
- Ethics Approval;
- Informed Consent;
- Data Availability Statement;
- Acknowledgements;
- References;
- Appendices or Supplementary Materials, where applicable.
The structure may be adapted for theoretical papers, systematic reviews, case studies, methodological articles, research notes and book reviews.
Abstract and Keywords
Research articles should include an abstract of approximately 200–300 words.
The abstract should summarize:
- the research problem;
- purpose of the study;
- methodology;
- principal findings;
- main conclusion;
- theoretical or practical contribution.
Authors should provide five to eight relevant keywords.
Reference Style
References must be prepared according to APA 7th edition.
Authors must ensure that:
- every in-text citation appears in the reference list;
- every listed reference is cited in the manuscript;
- bibliographic information is accurate;
- DOI links are included wherever available;
- references are relevant to the research;
- excessive self-citation is avoided;
- retracted publications are not cited as valid evidence.
DOIs should be written as active links:
Submission Declaration
By submitting a manuscript, the authors confirm that:
- the work is original;
- the manuscript has not been published previously;
- the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal;
- all authors made legitimate scholarly contributions;
- all authors approved the submitted version;
- the corresponding author is authorized to communicate with the journal;
- all data are authentic and accurately presented;
- all sources are properly acknowledged;
- necessary ethics approval and informed consent were obtained;
- conflicts of interest and funding sources have been disclosed;
- permissions were obtained for third-party copyrighted material;
- substantive use of artificial intelligence has been disclosed;
- the submission complies with the journal’s ethical policies.
Authorship
All listed authors must have made a substantial scholarly contribution to the work.
The corresponding author is responsible for:
- communicating with the editorial office;
- confirming approval from all co-authors;
- verifying authorship order;
- checking names and affiliations;
- coordinating revisions;
- ensuring that all authors approve the final version.
Requests to add, remove or reorder authors after submission require a written explanation and documented agreement from all affected authors.
Ethics and Consent
Research involving human participants, personal information, sensitive data or vulnerable groups must include an appropriate ethics statement.
Where applicable, authors must provide:
- name of the approving ethics committee;
- ethics approval number;
- date of approval;
- informed-consent procedure;
- confidentiality and data-protection measures;
- explanation of any approved waiver.
The editorial office may request supporting documentation at any stage.
Conflicts of Interest
All authors must declare financial and non-financial interests that could influence or reasonably be perceived as influencing the research.
If no conflict exists, include:

Funding
Authors must identify all financial and material support.
If the research received no specific funding, include:
This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial or not-for-profit sectors.
Data Availability
Every research article should contain a Data Availability Statement.
Examples:
The data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
The data supporting this study are openly available in [repository name] at [persistent link].
The data cannot be made publicly available because they contain confidential participant information.
Artificial Intelligence Disclosure
Generative artificial intelligence systems cannot be listed as authors.
Authors must disclose substantive use of AI tools in the preparation, analysis or presentation of the manuscript. The disclosure should identify:
- tool and version;
- purpose of use;
- affected sections;
- extent of human verification.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of all submitted content.
Initial Editorial Screening
Every submission undergoes an initial editorial assessment.
The editorial office evaluates:
- relevance to the journal’s scope;
- originality;
- academic quality;
- methodological adequacy;
- clarity of presentation;
- compliance with author guidelines;
- completeness of declarations;
- publication-ethics concerns;
- language quality;
- potential contribution to the field.
A manuscript may be returned or rejected without external review if it falls outside the scope, lacks sufficient scholarly quality, is methodologically inadequate or does not comply with essential submission requirements.
Peer Review
Manuscripts passing initial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers through double-blind peer review.
Possible decisions include:
- accept;
- minor revision;
- major revision;
- revise and resubmit;
- reject.
Submission does not guarantee external review or publication. Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, ethical compliance and relevance to the journal.
Revised Manuscripts
When revision is requested, authors must submit:
- Clean revised manuscript;
- Manuscript with tracked or highlighted changes, if requested;
- Point-by-point response to reviewers;
- Updated title page and declarations, where necessary;
- Revised supplementary files, where applicable.
The response letter should reproduce each reviewer comment and explain precisely how it was addressed. When a recommendation is not followed, the authors must provide a respectful and academically reasoned explanation.

Editorial Communication
All editorial correspondence must be conducted exclusively through:
Authors should include the manuscript ID in all correspondence after one has been assigned.
Messages sent through social media, personal messaging applications or unofficial email accounts are not considered formal editorial correspondence.
Withdrawal
Authors wishing to withdraw a manuscript must submit a written request to the editorial email address.
The request must:
- identify the manuscript;
- explain the reason for withdrawal;
- include confirmation from all authors;
- be submitted before the manuscript is sent to another journal.
The manuscript is considered withdrawn only after written confirmation from the editorial office.
Copyright and Licence
Authors retain copyright in their published work.
Unless otherwise stated, published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence:

The licence permits sharing and adaptation provided that appropriate credit is given, the original publication is cited, a link to the licence is supplied and any changes are indicated.
